On this upcoming adventure for Reggae Shark, show creator Mark Douglas shares, “I’m really proud of the fact that we were able to expand the Reggae Shark character into new territory while maintaining what was fun about the original videos. This is 22 minutes worth of new Reggae Shark songs with vastly improved animation quality. Oh, and you’ll finally get to hear Reggae Shark sing!”
Conceptualized on a vacation, Reggae Shark has become a breakout hit for The Key Of Awesome. While on a boat tour, the guides and fellow snorkelers spotted a shark that swam past the boat and everyone started searching for the shark. The Reggae songs that were constantly playing on the boat tour inspired Key of Awesome creator Mark Douglas and he started improvising a song called “In Search of the Reggae Shark.”
Reggae Shark premiered on August 22, 2014 and has racked up over 27 million views across 3 episodes, earning his place in the hearts of millions of fans around the world.
