Denver indie band Little Car have released their brand new EP, Splinters today! The four-song EP is now available for streaming and purchase on Bandcamp, and can be heard below.
Some fans may recognize the opening track, "The Wild West" from drummer Jacob Marshall's vlog from last summer, where he picked up Shia Labeouf during his #TAKEMEANYWHERE project and took him to the Grand Canyon. This was before Marshall joined the band and when the song was just a demo, making the new version the perfect opening for the EP.
Vocalist/guitarist Aidan Grapengeter had this to say about Splinters:
"This EP is a combination of older songs that I've been sitting on for a while that the two new members helped me develop. Every song is from a different time period in my life and I think it shows on the record. Every song is pretty different.
Also, shout out to Shia Labeouf. We love you."
Following the release of Splinters, Little Car will be hitting the road for a small run of dates with Smalltalk. Denver fans can catch them on February 10th at Dime Denver. Details are listed below! Follow Little Car on Facebook for more updates.
