Sarah Solovay is making a strong comeback today with the release of “Rough Draft,” her first new single in four years.
After making quite a name for herself (Before she was even 18, she opened for John Mayer and Train on tour, appeared on the 90210 soundtrack and was submitted for a ‘Best New Song’ nomination by The Grammys) Sarah decided to take some time off to grow, and found herself attending Yale rather than creating music for a few years. Four years later, she’s back with a renewed sensitivity to her first hand experiences that she had previously never been able to narrate in her songwriting. The result is “Rough Draft,” which can be heard below.
“I wrote this song four years ago, and have been waiting all that time for the right moment in my life to record it and release it. It’s crazy to me that that day has arrived, and it would mean the world to me if you’d give the song a listen or two.” – Sarah Solovay
Sarah will also be performing a “Rough Draft” release show this Saturday, February 18th in New York at Rockwood Music Hall, Stage 2. Fans can purchase tickets HERE: http://www.ticketfly.com/event/1420018-sarah-solovay-new-york/
