Hussey, the solo project from All Get Out frontman Nathan Hussey, has released “Stateside,” the second single from his upcoming album, Hitchens.
“Stateside” continues Hussey’s exploration of a more stripped down, reflective sound than we’re used to hearing from him with All Get Out. Centered around a campfire, sing-along style acoustic guitar and Hussey’s emotionally engaging vocals, “Stateside” is a testament to just how much a man with a pen and a guitar can accomplish artistically.
The new track follows the release of “All Things”, which premiered last month with Brooklyn Vegan. “All Things” was a fitting introduction to Hitchens, as Hussey describes it as being the song that “really opened up the album” to him as a writer. “Stateside” offers further insight into what we can expect on the new full-length, which is due out January 12th on Equal Vision Records. You can preorder the album now!
