LAYNE To Release Debut EP "The Black Hills" on August 26th

LAYNE has announced the release of their highly anticipated debut EP The Black Hills on Friday, August 26th.  The five track EP features the band’s signature dystopian indie-pop sound that was previously portrayed in their viral hits “Somebody” and “Good”, which have received over 1 million Spotify streams.
"The Black Hills EP is a collection of songs written over the past year and an introduction to LAYNE,” says lead singer-songwriter, Layne Putnam“It is a place where we can be alone together. Welcome to the in-between.” Within the EP, Putnam performed/recorded all the instruments on each track and also co-produced it alongside Los Angeles engineer/producer, Devon Corey.

In promotion of the upcoming release, LAYNE will be playing numerous cities around the US through the end of the year, making stops in New York, Chicago, Denver, and Kansas City at the end of the month, and further give fans an introduction into ‘the in-between’. More cities and dates to be announced.
