My Enemies & I have released the powerful, in-your-face music video for "Toxic." The video can be viewed below!
"Toxic" is taken from the My Enemies & I Fearless Records remastered debut EP Sick World, which is now available on iTunes and Merchnow and can be listened to in its entirety at MyEnemiesAndI.com. In conjunction with the music video release, My Enemies & I have also launched a contest giving fans the opportunity to win the actual guitar, bass drum and bass used in the music video. Contest details can also be found at the My Enemies & I official website.
Having built the entire video set themselves, My Enemies & I take a hands-on approach in the long-awaited and much-anticipated video for "Toxic," utilizing the black sludge seen in the video to symbolize inner negativity while also sharing the message that people have a choice as to what they do with that negativity.
"Finally, we get to release this video! It's been almost a year, a few different treatment ideas, two directors and multiple editors to get this music video done," says vocalist Jeff Hill of the video. "Looking back on it now, we couldn't be happier to release this visual interpretation of 'Toxic.' Our congregation of Fiends, please enjoy."
