Them Guns Release New Lyric Video For "Somebody Called The Cops"

LA based rock n roll band THEM GUNS premiered their official lyric video for their new single "Somebody Called The Cops" yesterday on PUREVOLUME. The video was directed by filmmaker/video director Paul Boyd (deadmau5, Goo Goo Dolls, Shania Twain etc)  of Dave Stewart Productions. The single is the first from the band's upcoming full-length album, due out later this year.

'"Somebody Called The Cops' is about the world changing to a place where we need to watch our every move. Every move, always under surveillance."

-- Navarone Garibaldi, THEM GUNS frontman

THEM GUNS will be appearing on Suicide Girls Radio on February 24th, kicking off a series of appearances and shows leading up to the band making their live debut at SXSW in Austin, TX this year at the Motormouth showcase. The showcase will take place on Tuesday, March 15th at the Dirty Dog Bar. Opening the show is LA band Open Hand, followed by THEM GUNS, and closing the show will be San Diego's P.O.D. Set times TBD.

THEM GUNS was formed in 2013 by frontman Navarone Garibaldi and keyboardist Kyle Hamood in Santa Cruz, CA. Nav met drummer Chris Hudson while attending high school in Los Angeles, who years later joined the group. Chris and bassist Chuck Holiday were the rhythm section of a previous band and the pieces all came together after the rhythm section was complete.

In April 2015, the independent film Shut Up and Drive, starring Sarah Sutherland (daughter of Kiefer Sutherland), made it's debut at the Tribeca Film Festival. The movie's soundtrack features three of THEM GUNS' songs - "Close Your Eyes", "Devil's Eye" and "Heard It All Before".
