Enter Shikari Announce North American Leg of "Take To The Skies" 10 Year Anniversary Shows

In spring 2017, Enter Shikari will be taking time out from work on their fifth “proper” album to perform a handful of shows worldwide over the space of a couple of months or so celebrating the 10th anniversary of Take To The Skies. Large shows in the UK (the band headlines 2017’s Slam Dunk Festival across three cities) and Russia (including Enter Shikari’s biggest Russian show to date, headlining the 8,000 capacity Moscow Stadium) have already been announced, and now it's the turn of USA and Canada.

The band will undertake a relatively brief tour of North America in March 2017, taking in some of their favorite cites and venues from their time touring the country previously.

All tour dates are below, with tickets on sale at 10AM EST. Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from all usual agents and http://www.entershikari.com/shows

Direct support on all shows is BEING AS AN OCEAN (openers TBC).

Frontman / vocalist Rou Reynolds had this to say on the subject of the tour:

“We’re glad we were able to include North America in the plans for the 10th anniversary shows, as we’ve been making the track across the Atlantic regularly since the album’s release, and there’s a lot of people still coming to shows today that have been with us since the very start.

We’ll never write another album like Take To The Skies, as Enter Shikari isn't really a band that looks backwards, but to be celebrating the decade anniversary of our debut album feels insane.

It's going to be a celebration of that album rather than being the clichéd “play the album front-to-back”.

But, as this is a special occasion, it’s important for us to recognise the importance of this album to us, and for the family of people who have supported us since those early days. On a purely selfish note, I cannot wait to play some of the tracks we haven’t played since 2007, or even ever!

The fact that we get to reminisce and relive tracks we recorded so long ago, and that are still held dear by so many, is something I could have never anticipated back then and fills me with appreciation for everyone that has supported this band over the years.”
