In the last few months Club 156 has brought great local and Denver-based talent to the ears of CU students, and to bring the semester to a strong close, One Flew West has announced an upcoming show with The Social Animals on December 2nd! Doors are at 8:30pm and tickets are $10 in advance or $15 the day of the show.
You may recognize One Flew West from the countless shows they played this year, including the inaugural Divide Music Festival. From busking on the Pearl Street Mall for passersby, to performing with national acts such as The Wombats, The Devil Makes Three, The Dirty Heads, Highly Suspect, Saints of Valory, and many more at sold out venues, the boys of One Flew West have become a force to be reckoned with.
The Social Animals are a full time, van-living young band. They speak through elegantly sarcastic, thoughtful lyrics with memorable melodies splattered across a canvas of indie rock instrumentation. They don’t do backflips at their live shows or slide across their knees into guitar solos. Instead, they play their music passionately and honestly, carrying both the intensity to move feet and the delicacy to keep them still
