Royal Thunder Reveal "Glow" via Entertainment Weekly; Play SXSW Tonight

Royal Thunder, who play SXSW today (12 midnight at Dirty Dog), reveal a new song, “Glow,” from their forthcoming album, Crooked Doors (April 7, Relapse Records) via Entertainment Weekly:

Late last week the Atlanta quartet premiered the first in a series of webisodes documenting the making of the eleven-song album, which the Austin Chronicle awarded four stars to in their pre-SXSW coverage:

The band has shared two additional, new songs from their sophomore album: “Time Machine” ( and “Forget You” ( Paste Magazine said “Forget You” takes “the atmospheric elements of their music even further. It’s a song that has a heady blend of the sludgy blues stomp that garnered them widespread attention and even heavier, darker elements than before.”  Metal Injection called “Time Machine” “seven minutes of rock godliness.”
