JANET DEVLIN Releases Christmas EP "December Daze" on 11/27

Irish singer/songwriter JANET DEVLIN, who People Magazine claim will "knock your socks off", will punctuate her tremendously eventful 2015 with the November 27th release of her December Daze EPon OK! Good Records.  The holiday-themed EP, which will feature a pair of originals ("December Daze", "Happy Holidays"), two traditional Christmas numbers "(Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", "Silent Night") and a cover of Joni Mitchell's "River", will follow up the Spring 2015 release of Devlin's debut international full-length album, Running With Scissors.

Pre-orders have begun for December Daze, including some collector's packages featuring hand-written lyrics, Christmas morning phone calls or your very own living room concert in your home (UK only) and more. The pre-order link can be found here: https://janetdevlin.pmstores.co

Capturing an optimism and bliss that only the holiday season can produce, the title track "December Daze" was written last winter during Devlin's first ever trip to New York City. "I'd gone for a walk in Central Park and it was covered in snow, reminding me of all the classic Christmas films that had been made there," she remembers of the experience. "Back in my hotel, I sat on the 36th floor with my guitar player, with the view of Times Square in the background, watching people with their woolly hats and oversized coats."

Joined by a friskier, tongue-in-cheek, "Happy Holidays", in which Devlin plays drums, percussion, ukulele, glockenspiel and vocal, December Daze's duo of originals slot in flawlessly against the time honored holiday classics like "Silent Night", "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", and Joni Mitchell's "River".

Initially having caught the public's attention on Series 8 of The UK’s X Factor in 2011, where she consistently received the competitively high numbers in the public vote, Janet rode the success of her appearance to see Running With Scissors reach #1 on the UK Indie Breakers chart, write-ups in Yahoo!NME and People Magazine, and even personal appearance for the Dalai Lama.

As her memorable 2015 fades away, Devlin will enter the studio in early 2016 to begin work on her highly anticipated sophomore release
