Huntington Beach indie label No Sleep Records is proud to welcome UK’s rising emo rock band Moose Blood to its eclectic lineup. The band will enter the studio this week to record their debut full-length album, which will be released later this year.
“Moose Blood was first brought to our attention by way of the Departures guys, and it was love at first listen,” says No Sleep president Chris Hansen. “These guys have a huge future ahead of them, and we could not be more excited to be partnered with them. Look for the Moose Blood x No Sleep worldwide takeover.”
Formed in 2012 Moose Blood’s warm, inviting music exudes heartfelt passion with songs about relationships, friends, family and drinking coffee in their hometown of Canterbury. The band’s distinctly British sound harkens back to the glory days of Deep Elm Records and mid 90’s emo. Since their inception the band has released two EPs, Moving Home and Boston/Orlando, and a split 7” with labelmates, Departures and have toured with bands like Appleseed Cast, Funeral For a Friend and Dads. The band will be hitting the road in May for a tour of the UK with I Am The Avalanche, Major League and Turnover.
