If you could change anything about the music industry, what would it be and why? This is a question we ask ourselves on a daily basis, and the folks at the Music Launch Summit are working on making the many answers a reality.
What started as Music Launch Hub, a Facebook group for musicians and industry professionals to help each other, offer advice, support, and a general safe space to ask questions and collaborate, has become the Music Launch Summit, a free digital conference that will run from September 13 through October 4th, featuring 40+ speakers from around the music industry. Speakers including Benji Rogers (PledgeMusic), Jennie Sager (Twitter), Rodney Holder (MusicBusiness Facts), Andrew Apanov (WeSpin), Budi Voogt (Heroic Recordings), and Ian Clifford (Make It In Music) will offer their knowledge and insights for those willing to learn more.
The first piece of advice for bands, fans and industry professionals comes from Music Launch Summit founder Steve Palfreyman on the three easy ways to cultivate a more supportive music community.
